CEMARK joined World Environment Day with a waste paper collection initiative

Environmental protection is a key element of sustainable development and the basis for building the future. At CEMARK, we strive to integrate the principles of environmental responsibility into our operations and inspire others to take similar steps. On June 5, 2024, on World Environment Day, which was held under the slogan #GenerationRecovery, CEMARK organized a waste paper collection initiative.

For more than 10 years, CEMARK has been implementing social and environmental projects aimed at raising environmental awareness, including waste paper, plastic corks and batteries collection campaigns and tree planting. During this time, the company managed to collect 31,421 kg of waste paper, which is equivalent to saving 393 trees.

In 2024, thanks to the active participation of employees from all locations of the company, 4,516 kg of waste paper was collected, which helped save 57 trees. The proceeds from the sale of waste paper (UAH 16,724) were used to support the Coordination volunteer community. In particular, the funds were used to pay for Starlink services for a mobilized colleague and his unit for a period of 4 months and 9 days.

The waste paper collection initiative emphasized the importance of environmental awareness and civic responsibility.
