To reduce its carbon footprint and conserve natural resources, in June, CEMARC's plants switched to using paper made from recycled materials.
This decision was made after analyzing the level of office paper usage in 2022. Last year, the company used more than 1.24 million A4 sheets. This amount of paper requires about 13.3 kg of wood, almost 312 liters of water, more than 80 kW of electricity, while CO2 emissions from production exceed 6 kg. Using eco-paper reduces these figures by almost two (for CO2 emissions) or sometimes even three times (for electricity and water consumption), and no trees were harmed in the process.
In this way, we confirm our commitment to environmental policy and sustainable development at CEMARK.
