CRH plants in Ukraine take part in the all-Ukrainian “Plant a Tree of Peace” environmental campaign for the fourth year in a row.

In April, the employees of the plant in Kamyanets Podilskyi planted new trees in the Liodova Arena microdistrict in Kamyanets-Podilskyi and on the plant site: 30 maples, 109 thujas,12 birches.  

The employees of Mykolaivcement have planted 6 new magnolias in the central park of Mykolaiv this year. New trees have also appeared on the plant site. 
 
CRH first joined the campaign in 2017. Then, a new alley of magnolias appeared in Rynok Square in Mykolaiv. The campaign was supported by all cement locations of the company, and since the start of the campaign over 300 saplings of decorative trees have been planted in Mykolaiv, Kamyanets-Podilskyi, and Odesa.
