The Minister for Communities and Territorial Development Oleksiy Chernyshov and the Head of Regional State Administration Serhiy Hrynevetskyi visit the Odesa Cement Plant

Odesa region has recently hosted the Minister for Communities and Territorial Development Oleksiy Chernyshov as part of his working trip. He also paid a visit to the Odesa Cement Plant together with Serhiy Hrynevetskyi, the Head of Regional State Administration.  

During the visit, the Minister and the Governor had a look at the industrial facilities of the plant, learnt more about the investments into the development of the enterprise and the business prospects.  

The Minister said that the Cabinet of Ministers is currently working on programmes that will create favourable conditions for stimulating civil construction. According to the Ministry’s estimates, the scope of work is expected to double in the next few years. The General Manager of Cement LLC Serhiy Mospanok pointed out that the “Great Construction” programme had a positive effect on demand for building products and saved the industry from a significant fall during the pandemic. The construction of cement concrete roads in Ukraine can become an especially significant driving force for the development of the cement industry in the future.  

The Minister assured us that the Government is interested in developing business and willing to help in solving the pressing issues that arise.
