Anastasiia Bielohrad spoke at the Ukrainian Construction Congress

In November, the 5th Ukrainian Construction Congress was held, dedicated to the topic “The Evolution of the Developer. Driving Factors.” The event brought together representatives of the construction industry to discuss key market changes and the role of sustainable development in modern development.

Anastasiia Bielohrad, Head of Technical Marketing and Innovations CEMARK, was a speaker at the panel discussion “ESG in Development: Trust, Transparency, and Responsibility in the Construction Materials Market.” She shared her vision of how the company influences the environmental component of construction, supports the principles of sustainable development, and is gradually changing the culture of cement consumption.

According to Anastasiia, the key task of the industry is to transform the approach to the selection of materials so that the reduced carbon footprint indicator is as important as quality and price. It is the interaction between producers and consumers that creates the basis for the implementation of solutions that really work for long-term sustainability.

Particular attention was paid to regulatory changes and the adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to European standards. These processes are already stimulating the cement industry to transform, and reducing CO₂ emissions is becoming one of the key challenges for producers.

At CEMARK, we see the answer in a comprehensive approach: developing products with a reduced carbon footprint, open communication with the market, explaining the economic benefits of such solutions, and gradually overcoming established stereotypes. This is how a new culture of cement consumption is being formed — one that is more conscious and responsible.
