First aid training from FAST UKRAINE

In January, Mykolaiv Cement Plant hosted a regular first aid training session. The training program, organized by certified FAST UKRAINE instructors, was aimed at developing the practical skills needed to act effectively in emergency situations.

During the two-day course, participants mastered algorithms for responding to critical conditions, including

  • assessing threats and ensuring their own safety in an emergency;
  • stopping massive bleeding and applying tourniquets correctly;
  • providing assistance in case of loss of consciousness, cardiovascular complications and seizures;
  • rescue methods in case of asphyxiation and other dangerous conditions;
  • refuting common myths that can harm first aid.

The training was conducted in an interactive format with practical exercises, which allowed the participants to consolidate their theoretical knowledge on real cases.

Training staff to respond quickly in crisis situations is an important part of CEMARK's corporate culture. First aid skills increase the level of safety not only at work but also in everyday life, where every second can be crucial.
