On March 17, 2023, our colleague Viktor Borzhyievskyi was killed in a battle for Ukraine in the Luhansk region.
Viktor was born in 1986. He graduated from Odesa State Academy of Construction and Architecture in 2010 with a qualification as a Construction Specialist in “Technology of Building Structures, Products and Materials”. Viktor joined our team in 2019 as a CEMARK Customer Support Engineer at Podilskyi Cement.
In the first days of the invasion, Viktor reported to the Military Commissariat as a volunteer and went to the front. He served in motorised infantry troops in Severodonetsk, Lysychansk, in the Zaporozhia direction and other hot combat areas.
Viktor loved his work and always sought professional development. We will forever remember him as a responsible, determined and brave person with a keen sense of justice.
Viktor was a fan of rock music, mountain tourism and snowboarding. He was a five-time champion of Ukraine in tourism.
On March 27, the farewell ceremony for Viktor took place in Kamyanets-Podilskyi. He was buried in the Alley of Glory of the city cemetery.
On behalf of our entire team, we express our deepest condolences to Viktor’s family and friends. Our hero of Ukraine will stay in our memory forever!
