Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Preparation and transmission of the shunting plan to the locomotive crew;
- Ensure rolling stock deployment and coordinate the actions of employees involved in the performance of maneuvers in accordance with the plan;
- Formation/disbanding of trains and groups of cars in accordance with the instructions on the procedure for servicing and organizing traffic on the company's sidings;
- Escorting cars during their transportation to other tracks;
- Ensuring the transfer of turnouts during shunting operations;
- Coordination of shunting operations with the locomotive driver in compliance with instructions to ensure traffic safety, safety of rolling stock and cargo;
- Securing and fencing trains and cars standing on the tracks with brake shoes and removing them from under the cars;
- Compliance with personal safety measures;
- Execution of individual assignments of the direct supervisor related to the work of the structural unit/position within their functional responsibilities, and additional functions in the absence of other employees of the structural unit/position.
Key functional competencies:
- Secondary vocational education in the relevant field of study;
- Work experience in the profession: from 6 months;
- Discipline, responsibility, ability to exchange information, politeness, tactfulness.
