Frontline Leadership Program

In February 2024, the annual training of the international Frontline Leadership Program (FLP) initiative, which aims to develop leadership skills among managers who directly supervise employees and contractors, was successfully completed. This program is mandatory for all CRH Group managers worldwide and is focused on improving the health and safety culture, ensuring safe working conditions and developing effective management.

The program covers the following key modules:

  • Leadership: Creating the basis for effective team management.
  • Coaching: Development of managerial skills and support for subordinates.
  • Safety: The role of the leader in ensuring safety in the workplace.
  • Results: Setting goals and motivating the team to achieve high results.
  • Conflicts: Attention to inclusiveness and respect for diversity in the team.
  • Development: Strengthening leadership skills for effective management.

The training in Ukraine was supported by both external experts and internal trainers.

The external experts included:

  • Mykhailo Krikunov (Ph.D., Dean of Kyiv Business School, strategic development specialist, author of more than 70 scientific papers);
  • Victoria Zlotnikova (psychotherapist and trainer with many years of experience in soft skills development, in particular at EPAM Systems).

The internal trainers were:

  • Volodymyr Tylishchak, Head of Production at Podilsky Cement JSC;
  • Sergiy Mospanok, Chairman of the Board of Podilsky Cement JSC.

This year, more than 50 participants successfully completed the training, gaining new knowledge and skills that will contribute to their professional development as leaders. A total of 176 hours of training, experience exchange and cooperation were spent.

Special mention should be made of our colleagues Anna Khromova and Valeriy Panchenko, who have successfully completed DDI's training and certification as internal trainers under the program. Their contribution to the development of corporate culture and training of new leaders is invaluable.
